A hydraulic D-type anti-ram road blocker was installed at a high-security checkpoint where stopping a hostile vehicle approach is non-negotiable. The blocker raises a rated barrier in seconds and is synchronised with traffic-light signalling so drivers get unambiguous cues.
Manual hydraulic backup ensures the lane can be cleared even during utility or control failures. Commissioning included pressure, stroke, and interlock testing with the site's access policy.
